11am to 11pm – Main Beer, Cider and Wine Event
Bands, times and stages are on the Bands and Musicians page.
The main ’Beer and Wine‘ event kicks off at 5pm on Friday! Definitely the best night of the festival – full range of beers, ciders and wines all in peak condition, rapid service at the bar, great combination of live and recorded music and enough punters to create an exciting buzz without feeling crowded.
Freshly cooked food will be available and we hope to be able to offer Greek style food, Hog Roast, Pizzas, Pies and much more.
Enjoy a comprehensive selection of beers, ciders and wines to suit every taste. Take a look on the Guest Drinks pages – Beer and real ales, Cider and Perry, Wines. The Bar Manager always provides a helpful report on beer/real ale, cider and perry.
Music from a wide variety of bands (the majority of which are local) will play until 11pm. There will be plenty of musical variety with a mix of genres and styles to suit both young and the more mature.
We are a family friendly event and we plan to have something for everyone so come along and enjoy the fun. Activities for children could include (to be confirmed) face painting, badge making, a coconut shy, stone painting, making bookmarks and Indian Head massage for kids.
DOGS AT THE FESTIVAL
Dogs: unfortunately dogs are not allowed on the festival site, as we have to consider the health and safety of all our visitors – plus the wellbeing of the dogs. Go to the FAQs page for more information.
Glasses: no free glasses…..…..in the interests of the environment and to save wastage. You may use your own Summer Moon pint or half-pint plastic glass from previous years (but not any made of actual glass or any other plastic glasses). Summer Moon pint glasses have the measures for half pint and full pint on the side. Summer Moon half-pint glasses have the measures for 125ml and 250ml (wine measures) as well as for half a pint on the side. As a general rule, for safety reasons, no glass of any description is allowed on the festival site. For additional information, see the sections on Glass and Glasses on our Frequently Asked Questions page.
“Summer Moon – the place to be with your friends and family”
We welcome new talent and wish to thank all those bands and musicians that contacted us for a session at the Festival. If you haven’t been successful before, and you are a reasonably local band, why not contact us again early next year?
